ABOUT US
NGU Basketball was created in 2019 with the goal to grow the Basketball community and help people learn about the game. Our mission is to reach, teach and help players maximize their full potential playing Bball.
Our program includes NGU Basketball academy where we will teach, develop, organize, manage and offer youth players (7-17 years old) the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
Opportunities are available for a recreational player looking to enhance their skills while playing for fun to an advanced player with a competitive desire and passion to become a complete player both physically and mentally.
NGU Basketball Academy
At NGU, we offer basketball skills development and personal training for kids (7-17 years old).
Basketball Skills Development
This is a popular trend in the basketball world today. Through repetition and hard work, our strategy is to teach fundamentals of the game. We want our kids to have a strong foundation to continue to play the game at a high level in later years. Our program is designed to improve not just basketball abilities but also teach life skills such as teamwork, leadership and discipline.

Meet our coaches
Coach Jeyvi
My name is Jeyvi Miavivululu and I'm the founder of Never Give Up Basketball Academy. After attending Felician University on a basketball scholarship, I had the opportunity to play professional basketball overseas and live from my passion. With my knowledge and my experiences, I hope to help all basketball players within their basketball journey. I currently work as a Basketball assistant coach at my alma mater and help student-athletes perfect their craft.
Coach Chris
My name is Chris Aguilar. I’ve been an Early Education teacher for over 23 years, a pre-school sports coach for the last 5 years and have been a basketball fanatic for even longer. I’ve played in numerous youth and adult recreational leagues throughout my life. Basketball is more than a game to me. It has taught me so many life lessons: communication, problem solving, physical and mental endurance, how to win with grace and how to lose with dignity. The game is pure joy to me and it is a privilege to pass these skills and lessons on to newer generations of players as they develop into the players and people they’re meant to be.
